Hα & Hβ spectrum of VV Cephei - HD 208816 - SAO 19753 [M2epIa-Iab + B8:eV]
VV Cephei is an eclipsing binary star system with a M2 and a B8 star The emission lines are caused by a disk around the B star, probable an accretion disk with material feeded by the supergiant M star. There is a campaign throug the next eclipse 2017 to 2019. More information about this: |
